Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

One of the best places in Bowling Green to eat. They always have courteous servers and the food there is always top notch. If you sign up for their emails, they usually have great prices on lunch.

I love to get carry out from Cheddars and the food is great. But today, as many other times, I waited on hold for 10 minutes and then had to call back and waited for 8 more minutes. The bartenders have enough to do to keep up with drinks, etc. without having to tend to all the carry out orders -- which are many. Most times they do not even have anyone to help them. Makes me not want to get carry out food there.

We walked in on a slower Thursday evening. The waitress we had was kind and personable. With a 18 month old in our party, she helped make our visit much smoother by entertaining the child while she waited on us. Our appetizers we ordered did not come out but she apologized several times and removed it from our order. After eating our main dishes, we were glad they never came. The portions we had were more than enough to fill us. Overall, our service was great and the food was good.

I don't know what has happened to Cheddar's. We have not had a good experience the last two times we have visited. One time I ordered soup and sandwich. I got my sandwich and no soup for about 10 minutes. They brought my soup with a teaspoon,they couldn't find soup spoons, I was told . There was food on the floors . They used to have such good food and service. This will definitely keep people away.

Cheddar's has fast service, really friendly staff. Their appetizers are fairly priced, as well as their steak selections. I really like the atmosphere, the music, the smell is pleasant doesnt smell like grease, the air is kept a nice temp. This place is really good for families or couples, and has a bar and outside options. It's handicap accessible and is friendly to LGBT people.
