Funky Bean Italian Restaurant & Coffee Bar

We dined at the Funky Bean on Friday for the Valentine’s menu and to also celebrate a birthday and we loved every single item. We also enjoyed a few lattes and a bottle of red wine with dinner which was spectacular. The caprese salad is my favorite every day item but my mind was blown with the Hanger Steak and & lobster special as well as the lobster and shrimp bocatini. The service was also great. 10/10

I haven't been here in a while so it came as a surprise that so much has changed inside. The menu has been updated and expended to include cocktails and brunch. More filling food options were added, makes for an entire meal. A whole new indoor seating area has been added to make it comfortable and warm to sit down with company for brunch. And a merchandise has been added also. Overall, the expansion brings in bigger crowd, but you can still just do a drive-thru if you wish.

Great food! Best Italian I’ve had in awhile! Very surprised. Definitely skip your Olive Garden plans and head here!

We stopped at Funky Bean on the way from Nashville to Chicago. Had a quick breakfast. The coffee is awesome! Prepped in accordance to best Italian traditions. Had cappuccino and latte. For breakfast I would recommend bacon and egg sandwich on a biscuit.
Also took Sweet Potato and Walnut pastry on a road. Not too sweet, just right.

I started going here when FunKY Bean first opened their doors. I have become a regular and I’m there every morning when they open. The best coffee in town. Have an amazing lunch selection and if you haven’t tried their dinner menu yet… you really are missing out. The staff is absolutely amazing and so friendly!
