Kountry Farmer Kafe

Kountry Farmer is a gorgeous restaurant in a challenging location on Old Louisville Rd. that I wish more people would go to. Typical walk in and seat yourself country etiquette, the waitstaff is prompt and warm. A great country menu wonderfully prepared, they need more exposure! #259

Went for the catfish dinner. Ordered 2 piece, fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies. The catfish seemed overly breaded and the fillets were very thin. The fries were limp, not baked crispy. The hush puppies were ok. The best part of the meal was the cole slaw. It is made in the restaurant and has pieces of apple and pineapple. I don't think I'll be back.

Found this place just driving through! The service is incredible and the food hot, fresh, fast and good! You have to check them out! And sit by the fireplace!

Food is always good, but the big draw is the family that owns the restaurant. Everyone is made to feel that they have been anxiously awaiting their arrival. Delightful people and good food.

I've only had the breakfast, and should have taken help as it was enough for two. Default on the bacon is crisp (just the way I like it) but it is cooked to order if you ask. The restaurant is cozy and sparkling clean, and everyone there was very pleasant.
