Shogun Express

Lovely option for a quick bite while traveling. A variety of bowls, noodles, salads, and sushi rolls. Easy access, parking lot, and room for our truck and rv (in the lot of an abandoned business next door). Employees were friendly, courteous, and food was prepared very quickly.

Good was served prompt, and the sushi was really good. The vegetable temepura was a bit cold, and would have benefited from being warmed up, but we got enough food we didn't need to eat the tempura on site

The price was incredibly reasonable, and I will certainly be coming again to get sushi from this place.

Very good food. I had never heard of this place but we seen it driving through Kentucky and we decided to stop. Would definitely recommend, wish they had a location in Indiana.

Stopped here to eat lunch as this location was directly off exit 22 on I-65. We were very pleased with the quality and quantity of food. We ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice and side salad. We also had a piece of red velvet cake for dessert. I would highly recommend this Shogun express for anyone in the area.

I went there for a birthday and I had a splendid time. Simply put, one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the area. The "Express" part I would recommend lightly: some of the items I got looked and tasted nothing like I had inside the building. The shrimp and miso soup are my go-to menu items. The hibachi grill setup inside is fun for everybody, especially for children. Though, you may want to suggest a regular table if you do not like intense heat or light.
