So we've all felt the loss of Osaka sushi train- but I want you to know that the spirit of that delicious food and service lives on at S&T. We didn't realize this spot had been reinvented, and we are so glad we stopped in today oh a whim!
Our server was incredibly sweet and answered all of our questions, and the food was all made fresh in house as we ordered it. We had several things from the menu, and all was brought out in a nice and timely manner.
First was the Egg Flour soup- it had cabbage and veggies and went right to my tastebuds. It was fresh and hot and will be perfect for the cool weather that's coming in the fall.
Second we had these delicious sesame balls. I believe they were filled with red bean paste but I might be wrong. They were savory and nutty and the coconut sauce provided an excellent sweet flavor. It paired really well with the soup.
Our entrees were absolutely huge. My partner and I didn't quite realize how much food we had ordered, because the prices were so phenomenal! He had the honey wine chicken, bbq pork, egg roll and fried rice. The egg roll was as big around as my wrist and the sauce (made in house) was an excellent pairing. This was all in one 13$ combo meal!! I had the Sweet and Sour pork, almond chicken, honey whine prawns and Fried rice (also in one 13$ combo! Wow!)
You would think with such good prices for so much food, it would be lacking in quality but I kid you not, this might just replace our usual take out spot. The quality and flavors are absolutely there. We can't wait to go back and try more in the future!
6:30 on Saturday not one dine-in customer. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and beef and broccoli and egg roll. Serving size very large. Be aware the sauce is poured over the chicken and pineapple..very strong. Beef had a weird after taste and vegatables very soggy. Egg rolls were very large but inside very soggy. Egg drop soup gelatinous and salty. Charged 4% extra for cc. Inside nice but dark. Cashier very nice. We were in town for one night but would not return if we came back to town.
Great tasting Asian food, large portions (they have take home containers). Dinner soups are served in VERY large bowls; most dinner entrees served with the flavorful egg flower soup. Friendly front end staff.
Absolutely phenomenal. Some of the best food I have had in Bowling Green! The crispy teriyaki tofu is outstanding! Egg flower soup served at the table is delicious and fresh. Fried sesame balls are filled with a red bean paste and are simply wonderful.
Got there around 1pm with my siblings. Got seated immediately and had a very polite and professional server. Food was average priced but absolutely delicious. Unless you go to Panda Express you won’t get a cheaper Chinese meal but it won’t taste nearly as good. Tried 5 dishes between all my siblings and we loved every single dish.
