Red River Rockhouse

We try to stop in RH every time we're at the gorge. It's a casual joint with a little flare and the food is delicious! Veggie options available (the kale salad is amazing) and the burritos are excellent. The variety of both food and drinks is pretty exceptional considering the size of the place, and the local cheese and meats and veggies mean everything tastes fresh. Everyone is super friendly, but remember this is a casual joint so don't forget your to grab your silverware and water right there at the counter :)

Our party of five, ages 7-72, visited the Red River Rockhouse to celebrate my son's birthday. Don't let the looks fool you. This is a great restaurant. The food is spot on with a nice variety on the menu. There are no fountain drinks but there is everything from soda, to juice boxes, to beer and wine. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.
This is the kind of place I would expect to find in a college town rather than on a windy road five miles from the KY Natural Bridge State Park.
Our entire family had a great time. Next time I'm in there area, I'm making a point to eat here.

The best ingredients make the best food. This place doesn't nickel and dime, they use the best. There simply isn't anything better in the area and the burgers are as good as anything I've had in Chicago

Stopped in at the Red River Rockhouse while on a 4 day stay in the Gorge, it was a Sunday evening the parking lot looked like it would be full however there is more seating inside then I thought there would be. Staff was very friendly and outgoing. The menu seems to be kinda small but for the type of restaurant it's not bad. Definitely a hiker/climber atmosphere. The food over all was good the burgers are a large portion and good quality the fries were not bad a little different than what I'm use to but ended up eating most of them. Overall a good stop and expereicance! Definitely recommend!

Very Good grass-fed burger, great hand cut fries, and cafe like atmosphere. Super friendly staff answered our random questions about the area.
Parking is tricky when it's busy. Location is perfect for the area.
