    I'll be frank the food here isn't amazing but it's pretty good, relatively cheap, and you get a ton of it (I don't know where the small plates tag comes from). Service is friendly and the food comes out fast.

    Had some Gumbolaya. Yeah I know it's not the season for gumbo but that was some good stuff!

    I had a great experience at the Pot & Paddle because of the great customer service! My picky toddler didn't want to eat and the awesome owner or manager brought out these items for him to sample free of charge. He chose the potato salad as his favorite dish and even got two free cookies for being a taste tester. Please support this business as they have good food and better service!

    This review is for the person who is visiting Louisiana for the first time and is trying gumbo for the first time. I'm not sure what gumbo, I mean real gumbo, is supposed to taste like but this gumbo was really good. Just a hint of heat. Chicken you could pull apart with a spoon. Sausage was really good. 24 oz of awesomeness with a sweet tea for $8. The staff was all very friendly and I was served within 2 or 3 minutes after ordering. I would definitely go back if I pass through there again.
