    My wife and I are riding our bikes across the country and rode into Simmesport today. Adventure Cycling mentioned we can camp at Maddie’s Truck Plaza. So here we are. This place is great. We are camped out back. Went in to grab dinner and drink. Menu is awesome with lots of options. Great wine selection in store. Help was super pleasant. Tommy Maddie stopped to chat about our trip. What a great guy!

    Really cool place to stop. Wide selection of interesting products to select from. Plenty of food options, Mexican, burgers and fries, sandwiches ready to go, fresh bread and cookies, big beer cooler, nice little wine nook. Has a nice down home vibe and all the cashiers are very nice

    Sweet older lady cashier with black hair was very helpful both times we came to visit. The pancakes were AMAZING way better than Ihop! I wish i lived not too far so i could stop in for these pancakes more often :/ we bought some local honey as well which im excited to try!
