The food wasn't bad the only thing I was disappointed about was the menu wasn't very specific about what actually came with the lunch specials, not a real big deal but it would be nice to know if you were getting beef, cheese, or chicken enchiladas and which sides are available with each meal. I'm sure it was somewhere in the fine print but it is nice to have the server explain that while you're placing the order. But it was right out in no time and very tasty. I would like to go again and see if maybe it was just a busy day and maybe they were just rushed while taking the order. Good place though if you want Mexican food I recommend white queso cheese enchilada and they also have great tostada.

I don't want any to accuse anyone of anything, but the beans and rice looked and tasted like they were straight from a box/can. I know we're in Louisiana, but this has to be the least authentic Mexican food I've ever had. The atmosphere is nice and the servers are nice, but they really need to step their game up a little as far as the food is concerned. At least it wasn't expensive.

This place could easily have five stars, but I'm going to list some pros and cons as to why I gave it three.
    Pros:
The price of the food for the quality of food was extremely fair. The portion of food even for lunch menu was also very fair.
The wait staff was friendly and looked family-owned which is always nice.
It was very spacious and I did not feel like I was sitting on top of another family.
    Cons:
My wife ordered a margarita and I ordered a Long Island iced tea, The price of both of those drinks was over $20. $20 is a lot for two drinks at lunch time.
Both drinks were made by an inexperienced hand and tasted awful.
Both glasses had visible dirt (or something) on them.
(This is a big con) The restaurant smelled awful. We went from the front, to our table, to the bathroom and back to our table and you cannot escape the distinct smell of moldy roaches.
It was not very busy in the store yet our food took a long time.

We probably won't go back but I will admit it was nice to see a Korean menu hidden in the Mexican restaurant and the beef bulgogi was very good.

Great comfortable place to eat. Quick friendly staff. The waitress took great care of us but still let us enjoy our meals. Meals were very good hot fresh tasty and very reasonably priced. I've been there many times and have meals togo.
    Another great meal 3/8/22

Great tasting food but I'm partial to the owners Korean cuisine. I have to admit I love most food from that region even though I grew up on a country farm about 8 miles from where I'm retired now. Sushi, Japanese, Vietnamese, all of it delicious and what can I say Mexican food is a staple in the south now. Used to be peas and cornbread. If you get the chance to eat here don't pass it up. Food is most excellent.
