BeauxJax is awesome! Only reason it's not 5 stars is price and portion size.

The good- The food was excellent and the Banana Foster cheesecake is top notch. The staff were all on point and our meal was to the table rather quickly.

The bad- Portion size is rather head scratching. I've only been to a handful of cajun restaurants but, every meal was like eating at home. Plates piled high with sides to accompany the main entree. Boy was I disappointed when I spent 15 dollars on Mac and cheese and all I got was a small boat shaped dish with only mac and cheese (still tasted incredible though!)
For 2 entrees, 1 slice of cheesecake, a tea and a water it came in around $51.00, so a little overpriced but its well worth a try but be ready for the hit.

Hidden gem. The food is the truth. The cook, Big, is from NOLA, and you taste all of that 9th ward coming through. The bread pudding was easily some of the best Ive had in my life. It was just missing some raisins. If it had that I probably would have bought a pan, and through the cook in the backseat.

We didn't purchase anything today. But we absolutely plan on doing so on the future. Beautiful layout, items are unique and beautiful, and the store smells good (from candles and scented oils that they sell!) The cashier was awesome and incredibly helpful with information. Will return soon!

We had my child's birthday dinner here. The food was amazing. Our waiter was very sweet and helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. They allowed my husband to stand on his chair and get the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday to my kid. The drinks were good. Not one bad thing to say about this place.

Came on a whim, food was amazing, service- outstanding, and great atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
