Best salsa in town, good prices, great happy hour. Win-win-win
Last night was my first time here. My wife suggested we go because she had been once before on a lunch break and said their enchiladas were fantastic.
Upon arriving, they had a sign that said "Waiters in training (be gentle)", which was amusing. The waitress we got was one of the new ones, but she was super nice and accommodating. She was excellent and provided some of the best service I've had in a very long time.
The enchiladas were pretty good, I wouldn't say the best I've ever had, but worth the price regardless. My wife also said the last time they were better, but the queso was a nice topper though.
Overall, atmosphere, service, food, and pricing were all very good. I definitely recommend.
Love the food here! The dip and queso is great. I have tried different Mexican restaurants and this one is in my top 3. I get the Ranchero Chicken usually but I tried the Mix last night and it was amazing.
I have to complain at first... The wait staff... It seems to change all of the time. Once I have a new server I go... Ehh they are new that's why they are struggling. A week later I am back doing it again.
BUT!!!! That should by no means make you miss this spot. The food is incredibly reasonable. Queso is one of the best. The drinks look fun and the atmosphere is amazing. The food shines when you are wanting a lot of cheese or just a whole lot of anything... The portions are massive. Given that there are so many Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurants in Shreveport/Bossier... I would recommend this in the top 5 because of the environment, patio, overall dinning experience and when you leave you will not be hungry.
Sorry, but it doesn't compare to the fare here in Texas, especially Houston Austin and San Antonio so I'm gonna shut up now. But the company I had was the absolutely the best, making the food okay. And it is better than the other chain of Mexican restaurants there.
