Copeland's of New Orleans

Despite the incompetence of the young lady who forgot to call us when a table was available, our experience was great. Meagan makes the absolute best peach bellini! Our table shared the charbroiled oysters, yum! Every dish was perfection as was the service.

OMG! Honestly, I'd never heard of Copeland's until today. We're visiting Shreveport and wanted Cajun food, so I googled it and started reading off the list of places. My sister said she heard Copeland's was supposed to good. It's better than good. It is to die for. We had the crab claw appetizer. It wasn't what we expected; it was better than what we expected. In a Cajun sauce with toasted French bread, the crab claws are tasty but it's a toss up which is better: the sauce mopped up with the yummy toasted French bread or the claws. Don't get me started on the eggplant pirogue with shrimp and angel hair pasta. And the onion blossom...not what we expected...better. We're going back tonight for the pecan praline bread pudding.

From the moment we walked into the establishment, great customer service. Our waiter Mr Curtis WOW we couldn't have asked for a better young man to take care of us. Kudos to the Host all the way to those preparing our meal. How about a round of applaud!!!

Wife and I ordered sliders to share...just a heads up, you only get 2. She had strawberry cheesecake and I had the creole. Both were amazing. The creole cheesecake has a walnut crust, not graham cracker. That was a new experience and was a really good touch. I normally hate walnuts, but not in this case. Definitely recommend and definitely will return.
