Frank's Louisiana Kitchen

We always come here when we want to treat ourselves. It is always a 5 out of 5 for me. We recently had brunch and the food and drinks were just as great as any dinner service. The crab cakes are the one item we always get!

Don't let the mixed reviews deter you from this gem of a restaurant. It is a little off the beaten path but once you do arrive it's like a little oasis worth the small drive. Not to mention it's located in such an adorably upscale area. We happened to go on Wednesday which the special of the night was 1$ oysters. The gods were smiling down upon us this day. They were the freshest oysters I've eaten in quite some time.

I can't express how amazing my experience was at Frank's! Their food was completely on point with the plating, the flavors, and the skill used to put our meal together! But, what really pushed them over the top for us was our server, Adam. This guy knew, not only how everything on the menu tasted that we asked about, but also, how to describe the meals. I felt like I was in a 5 star restaurant without all the pretentiousness. We felt at home and we felt like we were wanted there. My family keeps teasing me, because, ever since we ate there a couple of weeks ago, I keep telling everyone about my incredible food experience in Shreveport. I would HIGHLY recommend Frank's to anyone in the area or who is visiting!
