Golden Nugget Lake Charles Hotel & Casino

Me and my family had a great time. Wish the bars had more of a drink menu but other then that we had a absolute blast. Loved how the pool was heated and even open while it was sprinkling. The rooms were nice. Sucks you can't smoke on balcony but I understand why they wouldn't want you to. Bed was comfy as well and room was clean. We did not want to leave

The staff was super friendly. The pools and hot tubs were clean. I stayed in a king bed room. It was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The "neighbors" were noisy, but that is to be expected. It was just doors slamming and talking/yelling in the hall. Ear plugs are recommended.

I took my son and granddaughter for a night away and stayed in a corner suite. We entered the room and were blown away. The little kitchen/dining area was very modern with a living room, huge tv, and bar area. On each side of the tv you could walk into the bedroom, which also had a huge tv and a view from both corners. Opening the glass doors on each side, you could step out onto a balcony. But the most amazing to us was the bathroom. Entering, you see an amazing bathtub and double vanity. To the left is a shower which was large enough to hold 4 people. Then there was the restroom area and a closet area.
Downstairs, we were able to order food to-go from several places to bring upstairs and enjoy. The shopping downstairs was very costly but it was fun looking at the items.
The next day we enjoyed the amazing pool area, with places to sit, lounge, relax, or swim from shallow to deep. The photos say it all.
