Pizza Artista Lake Charles

It was unbelievable! Fresh, hot, and delicious. Watched them make all three items. It tasted fantastic. Try this place it's great!

Full disclosure: we ended up at this place because we know the manager, before she was the manager. Although I love pizza, I was not that excited to learn the type of restaurant given the fact that I also love seafood and we are traveling thru Louisiana.

Having said all that, we were VERY IMPRESSED with the flavors and offerings here. This is not your normal pizzeria, but SO much more. The best analogy my wife used to describe this restaurant was a "Subway" but for pizza. You either order the specialty pizzas, or you make your own with the ingredients in front of you. And they have a LOT of ingredients.

We ended up ordering the Caribbean Chicken and Mango to eat there. We also ordered an additional one and a Fig-N-Awesome to carry out. The combination of ingredients could turn away a picky eater, but rest assured it will be delicious. Because of the combination and size of the ingredients, you end up with a slightly different taste at every bite. The pizzas are slightly pricier than a regular pizza but it is well worth it. To finish it off we tasted several of their gelato offerings but settled on the cheesecake, but also took tiramisu for the road. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

An additional note, we happen to visit on a Saturday afternoon / evening and we found out that they have live music on weekends.

Best vegan pizza I have ever had and really friendly people. It’s in a mall but it has its own entrance. Crust was perfect! No added oil or butter like most chain places. Tons of choices for toppings!!!

My daughter loves the hand washing station. Very unique! The personal pizzas we ordered were nicely size. The topping were so fresh and the pizza sauce had great flavor to it. We were all very satisfied without visit to pizza artista!
