Of all of the fried chicken places in SWLA....TJ's is the best. It is as close to home cooking as you can get. When you order they make it fresh. (no-preheated and dried chicken like you find everywhere else) I do not buy fried chicken from anyone else.
TJs have juicy well season chicken. And their fried fish and fried Okra is so fresh and delicious
Service was so amazing and kind and the food was so very delicious... Not to much seasoning it was perfect.....
The service was very good. The fried chicken on the day I went was really good not to salty and not greasy at all. The only thing the wait was long next time I'll call it in but it was fried just for me fresh so I enjoyed. The bbque I had was good not falling off the bones but was tender and flavorful. The sides are good too especially the mashed potatoes and gravy and the cajun rice and fried okra. Moderately priced as well. They have a customer for life!
