Phil's is an awesome spot to chill with some great food. Prices just right, drinks just right and the atmosphere is casual as they come. $5.00 Martini night in Thursdays!!

The service was amazing! Our waitress went above and beyond to make our dining experience wonderful. The food all around the table was absolutely inspired and very very tasty! I had the crab and brie grilled cheese and tomato soup. The combo is a classic comfort food pairing raised to this new extraordinary height of sophistication and brilliance! And the apparently well known drunken bread pudding was everything it was talked up to be, but you'll definitely want to share the single portion, so you don't fall out into a blissful sugar induced diabetic coma. The charbroiled oysters were really the only thing that seemed to be not up to the high bar standard of the rest of the food that we tried. There are so many delectable sounding items on their menu, we will surely be back again!

This place is LEGIT! Fresh raw oysters, great Bloody Marys, and the sauteed crab claws were right on point! Classy style sports bar that is a staple in the neighborhood, and has been serving customers since 1950. If you want good service, good food, and a cold brew with your seafood Phil's is a must! Monday nights is 50 cent oyster night and would make a great way to enjoy any game. I will definitely be coming back!

Phil's food is the best Baton Rouge has to offer. I hear there's a new out of town oyster restaurant coming to BR from over New Orleans way. Well they had better bring their A-Game because Phil's Char Broiled Oysters are cooked perfectly and are absolutely outstanding! Now, I have eaten the char broiled oysters at the other mentioned restaurant many times and they are good. I'll put Phil's up against them any time. I also had the Shrimps Piazza...OMG. it is fried shrimp abundantly topped with crab meat and cheese.. Fabulous! Also, are you ready for this? The dressings are all house made. I had the absolute best blue cheese dressing I have ever tasted. They also have fabulous specialty bar drinks and beer in a frosted mug. There is nothing fancy here. It is an oyster / sports restaurant and bar. So, if you don't want fancy and do what some of the best food you've ever tried, Try Phil's. Our service was also outstanding.

My family's 1st time to this Restaurant. It's a very clean, comfortable atmosphere. Our Waitress Celeste, was very knowledgeable with the menu, sweet &, attentive. All of the food we had was very flavorful. The Crawfish was absolutely amazing. They were seasoned perfectly... This will be my go to place for the Crawfish. We really enjoyed our meal & the atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning.
