So good and when you go in there it feel like you at home and you have a home cooked Meal.?

I had the turkey necks and my boyfriend had the pork chop plate. The food was delicious but the sides are too small especially the yams and beans.

This was my second trip. This time, the reception wasn't as friendly and inviting. When I placed my order, I realized that the lady on the big picture was the one taking my order. I thought that the owner would be nicer and more welcoming than she was. Perhaps she was beyond tired and should have ended her shift early. It almost felt like she had lost her passion for her business. When I realized who was taking my order, I got excited and said, "Hey! That's her!" My enthusiasm dissipated because it felt like she didn't care that I was thankful to see the owner in person. There was no complimentary drink today. We ordered one catfish with etouffe and one plate with catfish. The yams were good and so were the greens. Great cook. Next time, if the owner is there, I hope she'll be happier. I'd rather see gratitude and feel appreciated for bringing my support. Otherwise, I hope the lady from my first experience is there.
