A hidden gem in Baton Rouge. My husband and I stopped here after a long drive from Dallas. I ordered the chicken with gravy and rice along with cabbage and sweet potatoes and corn bread and it was delicious. My husband ordered the baked fish, shrimp and rice with corn and green beans. Words cannot describe how tasteful the food was. To the owners if you ever want to open a second location, can you come to Dallas?
I was referred here by a friend. The food is just awesome. I mean every bit of it. It's soul food with a buffet and I don't have to drive across town or cook to get that quick soul taste.❤️
Listen, this place was recommended to us and we went that day and it was the best decision we could have made! The yams, cornbread dressing, and fried chicken was yummy! And the pricing was amazing. The staff were so nice and helpful. Definitely returning soon!!
Went there for the first time and was really impressed with food. Everything was good and im glad they have a real soul food place on this side of town.
Sweet cabbage, salty lasagna??? They kinda have that backwards. The lasagna is good but please put a little sweetness to it. And no sugar in the cabbage. The peach cobbler was great. Tea and lemonade are powder. Advice: Brew some tea.
