MID TAP

I’ve come here a few nights for bingo and trivia and always have a good time. What made me write this review was the brunch I had this morning. I got the hangover burger and honestly the best burger I’ve had in town. I was so surprised. So well seasoned. I love this place.

One of my favorite places in Baton Rouge to go. Not only do they have a HUGE selection of beers and whatnot on tap, they also have a bar with Bartenders who know how to make a very good drinks. Both alcoholic and nonalcoholic!! They're dog friendly. They have a kitchen that makes food till a certain time. And this is one of my most favorite things about this plas in general. The honey sriracha chicken Belgian waffle fries are so good that my tastebuds sing glorious melodies that make my soul dance and jig with each bite. Only to be brought to the bitter sweet moment when I look down at my plate and it's gone. Only making me look forward to coming back and repeating all over again.

Self-serve taproom where you receive a bracelet that keeps up with your tab. You can see how much you’ve drank every time you get a drink.
Just make sure to read your itemized receipt at the end of the night, and don’t lose your wristband.

Super fun place! You get a magic wristband (like at Disney) which allows you to pour your own beer and wine.

If you have the chance to go to a Drag Queen brunch - do it. The owners are kind, too. I felt like I was hanging out at a friend’s house.

I enjoyed my experience at mid tap! My friends and I brought our own card games to play, but they do have a selection at the bar. The bar is one of the only dog-friendly indoor places in Baton Rouge, so take your puppers! The staff were great and helpful and the food was really tasty. My only complaint is that the price of my tab snuck up on me. I would prefer if the taps told me how much I’ve spent so far because my total was much higher than I expected it to be. I would like it if there was a way to try a couple of samples for free too like a normal bar.

Suggestion for the bar: y’all should buy some of the games in this picture! Exploding kittens would be a hit, get 2 decks!
