This was the restaurant that I wanted to eat on New Years eve but had to go to BRQ instead which was a disappointment.
I was blessed to come on Mardi Gras Saturday night for a party in my mouth and live music. The special came out luke warm but that didn't matter. It tasted phenomenal! The meat was moist with smoke flavor that tasted awesome. You have to come experience Debbie and her cohorts for delicious food and great music❣️
I will be back for my mouth party! 🎉
We absolutely enjoyed the smoked barbecue. We sampled everything on the menu that was available.
The ribs were moist and fell off the bone. The brisket was full of flavor. The pulled pork was mouth watering. The sides were pleasing.
However, they were out a lot of items but barbecue places run out of food on a regular basis. We won't hold that against them. We would suggest calling ahead.
On the weekends, there is live entertainment. The service was impeccable and the owner's daughter is a great ambassador for the restaurant. Give them a try.

Went in with high expectations from the reviews but this place just fell short for us. Service was good and the prices were decent but that's about the only positives I can come up with. There's better BBQ joints in town.
So much is good about Old School BBQ & Smokehouse. Friday and Saturday live music with great food. A perfect spot to enjoy good BBQ and some old school live music.
Great service! All of our food was delicious.
We got the nachos as our appetizer(substituted chicken instead of pork), which was a very generous portion. Easily enough to share with 4 people.
I had the ribs, sausage, and chicken plate, potatoes and beans. I also ordered brisket on the side, to try. The rib meat came easily off the bone. Sausage was done well with crispy exterior and they were a little spicy, which was great! The chicken was smoky and flavorful. Potatoes were seasoned well and the beans were thick, creamy, delicious, and even had some cut up chicken chunks in it. (Highly recommend)
My fianceé got the shredded smoked chicken & cheese monster tater, which was large and full of chicken and toppings. (Very good)
Overall, everything was delicious. The brisket comes marbled(fatty) but you can ask for lean cut, if you prefer. Personally, I prefer marbled)
There's plenty of seating available and the tables are spread out decently, so you're not backing into someone behind you. They also have outdoor benches and tables to sit and relax. Restroom was clean. Interor decor was also nice. There's a bar inside for adult beverages and more than enough televisions inside with lots playing, from sports, to movies. They also have live music at times.
Go try it, you won't regret it!
