Teddy's Juke Joint

A true gem! Teddy was kind, gracious, and made us feel like we'd been coming there forever.
We will definitely be going back on our next visit to Louisiana.

They are so hospitable. Teddy is great and tells stories of the past. GREAT DRINKS. Support his business it is one of the last standing juke joints. Go!!!! Let's keep this alive. Everyone suffered from business loss during Covid. Get yourself out there and experience the past with a great atmosphere (a lot to look at on the walls). Just watch the stairs leaving the joint. Love you Teddy, you're the best!!!!

Teddy and Nancy are flat out the coolest people around. Can't meet anyone nicer and more welcoming than them. I hope one day me and my girl will be as happy as they are.

If you want to enjoy yourself at a real Juke Joint. Teddy's is the place to go. It was about 5 people with our birthday party. Drinks was great, the band did a excellent choice in music. As they say, Old School but with a Class. It's strictly Adults only.

I could go on and on about how wonderful this place was and how incredibly sweet Teddy and his friends were. Baton Rouge and every single person we have met has been incredibly kind to us but I am so glad to have met Teddy. In the hours that we spent there, he told us about the incredible life he has lived that we were able so see by all of the memorabilia on the walls and hanging from the ceiling but he also mentioned how badly covid had affected his business. If you ever find yourself in Baton Rouge, please stop by and visit Teddy's Juke Joint! We went in as strangers and left with new friends, you will not regret it!
