The restaurant is unassuming on the exterior, but the interior is so unique. The service & food are excellent. I went with my ladies book club on March 1, 2023. The waitress did a remarkable job with a rather large group of 20 ladies. Everyone was pleased, no complaints, but lots of compliments. I ordered the shrimp wrap which was very tasty, a little messy to eat as a wrap, so I ended up eating it with a fork instead. The portions were very generous too. I plan to take my husband there on a date night.
It is also located in the Jackson “antique district” which makes it an excellent choice for lunch when out & about shopping .
I'm a cajun. And a serious food critic. And let me just say... the food was amazing!!! We got the shrimp wontons and onion rings for starters. My husband got the special, which was trout with grilled shrimp and a cream sauce on top. And I got the steak with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was delicious. I wish I could've talked to the chef. Cause whoever it is, they are talented. And the staff members were so nice! We will definitely be back! Great job!
The atmosphere and BRUNCH are my favorite things about this place! Food is fabulous. Only one thing I didn’t care for, but that was personal preference. Dined in several times now, and all were a great experience with friendly staff. If you’ve had a different experience, give it another try!
Wonderful food! Drinks! Atmosphere, Friends and family members!
Went for lunch with coworkers. Got there a little later than typical lunch, around 130. They close at 2 and I was a tad worried we wouldn't be served or our food would be rushed. I shouldn't have worried. It was all so good. The waitress was attentive and service was prompt. It's very rare that every person at the table enjoys their food. Collectively our table ordered the chicken parm, roast beef poboy, wedge salad and onion soup. *chef's kiss* SO GOOD. The onion soup was maybe the best I've had. Adequately salted, topped with cheese and small crostinis, just as it should be. The wedge salad was cold and crispy, topped with blue cheese that was not overpowering, tomatoes and bacon. Cute environment with a cool bar that was reminiscent of a cigar bar. I expect they will be very popular and I hope the attention to each dish remains. Consistently good food is hard to find in the area. I will be back.
