Very cool and eclectic place with a variety of indoor/outdoor seating. Very laidback vibe that is very kid-friendly.
The pizza was great… very creative combination of ingredients. We had the Beaucoup- Scratch red sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, fresh mozzarella. olives, red onion, and Brussels sprouts with a light drizzle of hot sauce. 😎👍
Good beer and homemade root beer for the kids.

Counter service with “food-runners”. The day we went, the bar was closed, so all drinks had to be ordered in the line for food creating a rather long wait.

What a great find! Loved the name and had good ratings so we drove a few miles south of Baton Rouge… so worth it!
Very dog friendly! Nice selection of beer but in this heat I stuck to the light crisp side (which means I’ll have to come back and dive into the dark side).

This was my first time at Istrouma, and I definitely want to go back. My husband wanted some good beer and "funky pizza" with a cool outdoor atmosphere. Well, we found it! The beer selection was solid, and their pizzas were delicious. Even on a warm summer night, the outdoor seating was pleasant -- made even better by live music and a small vendor's market. I'm already looking forward to a return trip.

Had a great experience here. The décor and location was completely not what I expected. We sat inside, due to it being rather toasty outside. Their beers were decently tasty and the pizza we had was amazing. Would definitely go back when we're in the neighborhood again.

Local Gem 💎 absolutely love this snack shack perfectly designed and family oriented outside and inside fun for all. Food is delish and atmosphere laid back, relaxing and everyone is overflowing with kindness. Children friendly with lots for them to do; outside eating on the beautiful grounds is a PLUS!! My husband has loved everything he has tried and I was impressed with their version of Avocado Toast🥑🍕 taste and presentation was 💯 (posted pic below) . The frozen lemonade was extremely refreshing. Looking forward to sharing with friends when they come to town to visit and having some fun @ the bean bag toss area. Give it a try support LOCAL BUSINESSES
