Excellent food and service. The food was so fresh and well seasoned. Best place to eat good food in the airport.

Nice place to stop at the airport. I tried the southern fried chicken sandwich and gumbo. The sandwich was very tasty, however, the gumbo was a bit salty for my liking. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Service was good. Food was okay. Nice portion for price.

I have a low bar for airport food but you don’t need to bring that here. Dook’s is awesome. Got seated right away. Found an outlet to charge the phone. Ordered fried chicken, green beans and a beer.

The waiter warned us that the chicken takes 20 minutes but we were fine with that. Sipped on some beer in the meantime and listened to the live zydeco music winding down the hallway.

When the chicken came out it was awesome. Fresh hot and crispy. Delicious. Green beans and fries were good too. Ordered the bread pudding and the waiter was honest and said he would check if it’s good. Sometimes it’s not. It was very good.

I don’t recall the waiters name but he was really good and helpful not only about ordering but about everything else like where to go in NOLa and how to get there. We should all be so good and helpful.

This place is top notch.
