Even with a longer than expected wait due to a lunch rush this place met and exceeded my expectations; they offered us a complimentary (and delicious!) empanada for the inconvenience and the food was well worth the wait. Will absolutely return and I hope to see more locations in the future. Full marks, highly recommend.

I love this place. I use to live in Miami and this is the real deal. I would consider it Cuban fast food. Ask for them to make it fresh and don't take the food that is already their waiting. The broiled chicken and black beans are yummy. Bonus points if you speak Spanish. They are primarily Spanish speakers working their ... They do speak Spanglish.
There was a little bit of a wait but it was completely worth it. The chicken was hot, fresh, and very flavorful. The campero beans are amazing, they taste like chilli. The coleslaw was a nice twist on traditional slaw and the rolls were fresh. My new favorite sauce is the signature sauce. The ranch tasted homemade and delicious. The buffalo is a nice sweet heat. Definitely going back one day soon.
I have stopped in here before, for lunch. It's very close to the New Orleans Airport.
On today's visit, I got the fried chicken, and the corn salad. Getting in as early as I did, around 10:30, the chicken was very fresh.
The fried chicken was juicy, and seasoned throughout. The whipped style batter left me wanting more. Similar to Kentucky Fried, original recipe, but much better, this chicken did not disappoint.
One thing I noticed immediately was that it was apparently fried in fresh grease. I know this sounds basic, but a lot of places don't change their grease regularly, and you can tell it in the flavor of the chicken.
The corn salad was chilled. It had small chunks of light feta cheese. The light vinaigrette dressing put it all together.
Also seen was the grilled chicken, and the coleslaw. The grilled chicken was not overcooked, seasoned throughout, and moist. It was perfectly seasoned as well. The coleslaw seemed to be an authentic dish. It did not have a heavy mayonnaise flavor. I do not like coleslaw with a heavy mayonnaise flavor. This was more was like a thin sour cream style dressing.
Food was great, nice and hot. It all seemed fresh at 3PM, not a peak time. Staff was friendly and asked if everything was good. The staff didn't seem to speak English to each other and where hard to understand. Also at nearly 100°F outside it was hot and humid inside too. I would go back if this was local to me.
