Byblos | Elmwood

Had the Feta Cheese sticks for appetizer, (Feta, Mozz, and Cream Cheese). Came in an eggroll wrapper, we are all tired of Mozzarella cheese sticks, they were awesome. Ended with the rack of lamb, for me superb. If you have not tried lamb, try it....no disappointments. Ate at the bar, bartender/server was excellent....Great service!!!

Ate lunch at Byblos Old Metairie about a week ago...it was delicious..Mediterranean Hummus to die for....Gyro platter..hubby raved about it and shrimp appetizer..yummmmm....well decided to do Byblos clearview for the family during the Saints game(Who Dat)...not the same...they forgot the sauce for the Gyro plate which made that meal dry...the homemade pitas were ok...the Alfredo that we added Chicken Shwarma to was good but not worth the $23 we paid...over all it was an ok meal but when you pay over $100 you expect better....planning an early dinner in the near future with my friends but it will be at the Byblos Old Metairie location.

Eating mushroom hummus and taking in the ambience… the tables are bustling with families, the friendly service is top notch.. Evan, the manager introduced himself to my dad and I, we came at 830 a less popular time and it was lovely. He told us about the new brick pita oven that was imported and how it makes all the difference. The perfectly puffed pita circles were constantly being eaten and replaced. I know this is trivial but my water stayed full the entire time. I highly recommend the Mushroom hummus and beef shawarma!! I’ll be coming back here constantly adding this spot to the weekly schedule.

Beef shawarma was sooo good and tender! The staff was amazing, each one greeted me and were attentive. I do wish they already have a Greek salad on the menu, bc I had to modify the Fattoush salad which in turn had an additional price. All in all would definitely come back! Nice outdoor patio as well
