So, other than not being used to thick thick tortillas, (Salvadoran style), everything was cooked and done well. Great service from Laura. I ordered eggs over easy a la mexicana...I like my food spicy and this was not, however the taste was good, I added sauces to get some heat. The maduros ( fried plantain / banana) were good, and I am not very fond of fried banana but these had a great balanced mild sweet flavor, the cream complimented perfectly.
The rating 5star is premature, because I had breakfast but also ordered a variety of popusas for lunch at work... so ill add another post for that. But if the popusas are as good as bfast was ... then 5 it is.
I went to this place to eat pupusas I wanna say I tried several times pupusas from this place and I don’t know what kind of cheese they’re putting in the Pupusa but I didn’t like it, please can use fresh oil to cook the pupusa they’re using the used-burned oil really disgusting. According to from my experience it’s irritate to discuss with the person who’s taking the ORDER I said Pupusa with chicharrón and she said you’d say mixtas. Mixtas Pupusas even aren’t on the menu, she needs a little skill on knowing what she’s selling and if they don’t have an item on the menu jus write down on the white board.
I have gone several times to this restaurant and they never disappoint. Always leaving full and satisfied! The pupusas are always fresh and delicious! They definitely are the best pupusas I’ve ever had. Customer service is always on point so I definitely recommend everyone try them out.
Best pupusas in the NoLa área service is awesome food is delicious . Very cozy restaurant I order Spinach and cheese pupusa my favorite
My daughter was craving pupusas and I remembered a friend had mentioned this new place on Williams. I ordered one order of pupusas mixtas (cheese and chicharrone) which comes with 3 pupusas and one order of the tacos dorados (their version of Honduran tacos/flautas) which comes with 5 tacos. Both plates were delicious. My daughter said she gives them a 10/10 and I agree! Definitely will be my new spot for pupusas! Sidenote- some of the lunch items are only available on certain days/weekends. Super friendly staff informed me when I was placing my order!
