Nice looking and open in style, dine inside or out. Everyone was friendly and seemed sincere and moved very fast. But didn't ignore you. The salsa starter was out of this world, I love fire roasted salsa. The food was well prepared and tasty, well presented and plentiful. The only drawback is for first time visitors it behind Planet Fitness but also almost under the Causeway roundabout. Very much well worth the trip though.

I was in the area and starving and found this new gem that just opened a couple months ago. The food is incredible. I had the steak and chicken fajitas. They were cooked perfectly with peppers and onions, rice and beans. Every bite was soooo good. The chips came out warm, and I really enjoyed their salsa. The frozen house marg was amazing. We also had the chicken burrito stuffed with rice and beans and covered in cheese and sauce. It was huge and delicious. The portions are large. We took half home for dinner. Ask for Meghan. She took great care of us. The vibe is really good with lots of TVs to watch sports and a cool bar!!!

Family friendly dining with excellent steak fajitas and delicious smoky pinto beans that may become the reason why you keep going back. Our waitress, Marissa, took the chaos of our 3 and 1 year old in stride. We met neighbors and our kids had a pack of friendly children to explore the kids area with. A great Friday all around.

Awesome food and great customer service. Went to dine with my family on Tuesday night. Had 16 of us for a family event. Started off with nachos and some guacamole. They were delicious. Then had some steak fajitas, which were out of this world. For cocktails we all mostly ordered the margaritas. They were outstanding. Which impressed me the most was the great service we had. Marissa was our server she was outstanding from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. Gary(manager) came over to table and asked how things were and was great. If he treats every table like he treated us, then no wonder why they were packed. I had 4 birthdays at my table and he was on top of his game making sure they got there birthday Tres leches. Which was also outstanding. My family and I will be returning. I would recommend to all.

I've been waiting for this one to open for quite some time now. So as soon as I heard about the grand opening we had to get out and try it. Las Cruses is the latest brainchild of restauranteur Aaron Burgau. It lived up to our expectations. I started out with a House Margarita. We had the tortilla chips and exceptionally delicious salsa brought to the table as soon as we sat down. Mmm... the House Margarita was very good, and did I mention the chips and salsa? Wow! Best Salsa I've had in a long time. I probably could have made a meal out of the chips and salsa and had another margarita, but the menu was calling me to order more. The menu was small but very diverse with offers of Fajitas, and Carne Asada that was a hanger steak. I'll probably order that next time with a few sides and split it with Charla. But Charla ordered the Two Soft Taco Meal with a side of grilled veggies, and I ordered the 3 Enchiladas. Beef, Chicken, and Cheese. The food arrived promptly and was served with a smile. My Enchiladas were delicious but the one thing I found tasty was the rice and beans. There are so many restaurants that ruin the meal with off-tasting beans and rice. Charla made a meal out of her two chicken tacos that were also cooked to perfection. So, I was able to eat her sides of beans and rice. I probably could just get the beans and rice and make a meal of that. That's how good it was. Outdoor seating is an option. There is a large bar for those that would like to partake in cocktails and a large grass area outside for your kids to run around and play. So over all they raise the bar for TexMex in the New Orleans area. We will be back. I must try that Hanger Steak Carne Asada. Oh, I almost forgot. Get the bread pudding for dessert. It's delicious. Charla does not eat bread pudding, but she ate this one.
