Zea Rotisserie & Cafe

Surprisingly one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was fantastic. Everything was very good. Service was great.

Always a favorite when I am passing through New Orleans. Relaxed atmosphere, great food and not pricey. Big difference between this and tourist food! Try the Bronzed Trout or Pepper Jelly Chicken on Spinach leaf. Also the Mediterranean Humus with Cucumber chips as an appetizer. YUM!

I think I have a love/hate relationship with this place. The grits are great, but over time, I got tired of eating them. The rotisserie chicken is pretty good, but can be dry at times. Either way, it still makes for an okay meal if you don't feel like cooking. Zea recently catered an event at my apartment complex and the food was amazing. We had the Thai Stacked Ribs, Pepper Jelly Chicken Salad and Hummus. I visited Zea a few days ago and ordered the Thai Stacked Ribs and Pepper Jelly Chicken Salad. Unfortunately, it wasn't as great as I remembered. The ribs were tender, but had zero flavor. After eating half of my salad, I realized they had given me two different types of dressing. I liked the pepper jelly, but the other didn't add anything to the salad. To sum it up, Zea is average and consistent with their offerings.

This was my first visit to Zea. The place was real clean. The hostess was nice, and I was seated right away. The server was kind and polite. The food was awesome! Everyone who worked there was nice, and they spoke when they pass my table. I will definitely be back to sample more from the menu.

I absolutely love this place and the food. Laid back atmosphere and the best steak I have ever had. The customer service is excellent and extremely clean atmosphere.
