Koz's Harahan

Our favorite family neighborhood restaurant. Love the catfish plate and Mac and cheese. Good tartar sauce too. Super friendly.

I've been going to Koz's for years but sometimes will be 5 or 6 months between visits, it never changes. Always great New Orleans food and a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. Some of the best po-boys in the city, plus wonderful plate meals like your mama made.

Decided to check this place out, a rare Google rating of 4.7. A local historical landmark for decades. Many locals dine in and take out, steady traffic. You can tell patrons are regulars. All cooked to order so our food was piping hot. Good fresh ingredients cooked appropriate to the neighbourhood style eatery. I rate this place's decor a tad below recent visits to Mandina's, Mr Ed and R&O. Food is about comparable. Surprised to see green beans using Italian blade type instead of string beans. Will recommend to all but expect a less classy place. Very friendly staff.

Great food good price nice people

I heard about their Cuban sandwich. So I stopped in to try it. I was impressed. I love a family owned and ran eatery like this. Locals talking to the cooks. Everyone knew each other and you should have seen the fried chicken coming out of the kitchen!!
