Très Bon Cajun Meats

We had dinner tonight at Tres Bon Cajun Meats in Louisiana. It was fantastic. The place is not fancy but has lots of character. We split “The Divorce” which is a sampler of half portions of ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, smoked brisket, andouille sausage, boudin sausage, two sides, and fried rolls. We had the baked beans and potato salad for sides. Everything was amazing. The meats had a deep smoky flavor and were lean and tender. They had excellent taste as is but there was also Tres Bon Creole seasoning and barbecue sauce that took things up another level. The sides were great too and there were a number of other things to choose from. The service was quick and the people there were super friendly.

This place is FABULOUS! Food was AMAZING! Great quality food. Great quantity too! Staff was EXTREMELY friendly! ❤❤ Will definitely be back when I come through the area again!!!!

Brisket tips (not to be confused with burnt ends), brisket, jambalaya, potato salad, grits, baked beans. All very good. Great flavors and texture. Service and staff are friendly. Very much worth the visit.

The grits are excellent and among my favorites too!
Great menu, from the traditional pulled pork and ribs, to the different Cajun food specialties. The barbecue items are spicier than I like. I prefer spice for flavor rather than heat.
Really friendly and welcoming people.
