Small typical New Orleans style "hole in the wall bar", but the staff were super friendly and made me feel comfortable with my first interaction. The patrons were locals who were very nice people. The restroom was very clean in this "no frills" establishment. There were several dart boards and two TV monitors.

We stopped here briefly on the way to and from the Ultimate Swamp Tour. We had a Hurricane Betsy and a Tricky Ricky and enjoyed them both. The place has the feel of a local hangout. People were friendly, chatted with us and made us feel very welcome. Would have liked to have had more time to play a game of pool or darts.

This place is amazing! First proper cajun/creole food we've had our whole trip. The red beans and rice are fantastic, the frog legs were to-die-for, and the crab balls melted in your mouth. Grab a bucket of beer here before your swamp tour, and then come here for lunch or dinner after.

Delicious food and very friendly staff! We tried the frog legs special and the Louisiana taste plate, all great local dishes. First time with the Holly Roller IPA, which was great too. A great stop for before or after a tour on the swamp. Food takes a while to get ready but is totally worth it.
