“The food was excellent, we ordered take out. But why three stars? Because they seem to have trouble with time. They said the order would be ready in 45 minutes. We arrived at 45 minutes and waited with another eight customers for our order. And we waited and waited and waited. It ended up being an hour! That's one hour past the time they told us to pick it up! If your busy, that's great but when someone calls in an order, tell them it will be 1.5 - 2 hours. How could you not know when I placed the order? I give the food five stars but the service, a one. If you've gotta lots of time to stand still in line, then this is the place for you. I just ask that you give a realistic time estimate when I place an order for take out.”

“We tried this cute new downtown restaurant tonight. We sat outside on the patio which had a great vibe with interesting people, lighting and local live music. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service was good. I was a bit disappointed with the food. Menu is mostly burgers with two other sandwiches options both of which they were out of tonight. I ended up ordering a burger as my third choice and it was just ok. I wanted this place to be great! May try again another time.”

“I was looking for a breakfast place downtown, and saw that this Salvadoran place that was open. I never had Salvadoran food before, but pupusas are my jam! Decided to give it a shot, and I was not disappointed! There were lack of communication for sure, but since the menu had english on it, it made it a lot easier! I had the following: Huevos picados (revueltos) - scrambled eggs, fried banana, fresh cheese, sour cream and fried beans, served with tortillas - it was delicious, a little heavy for breakfast, but I sure did finished it Pupusa - can this be the best pupusa in Lafayette? It was so delicious and cheesy! Their lunch menu looks pretty delicious, definitely need to come back to try their lunch menu!”

“The French Press is one of those perfect little places that just blow your mind with their food, drinks and service. The food, is so indescribably good and I love their unique take on traditional cafe fare. Their cheddar waffles and steens cane chicken is so good, like sinfully good. Pair it with their praline bacon and you’re in for a delightful treat. Our waiter, LJ was attentive, knowledgeable and super friendly he is a great server. We also asked some specific questions about the ingredients in some menu items as our daughter has a large amount of food allergies. He was able to tell us specifics and give us enough detail that we would feel incredibly comfortable bringing her here as well. Thank you so much for such a wonderful dining experience!”

“To my surprise, the pizza was actually pretty good to say it's Domino's. The drive through line was long, but it moved at a pretty steady pace. I know it's Covid-19 in 2020, but I am just warning you all. Also, it was a Saturday night, and this Domino's isn't that far from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Though I thought the prices were a little bid too much, considering it's Domino's, I was pretty satisfied with the quality of taste and the quantity of toppings. I would recommend this Domino's to those who are looking for Domino's or is willing to eat fast food pizza.”

“The food is good. But the waitstaff are very lax about their masks. Yeah, they were wearing them, but as chin straps! And they were serving food. Thankfully, my waiter wore his correctly, but he was the odd man out. Don't order the mango salad. The no longer have mangos, very disappointing. Given that research says that people are now most likely to get COVID-19 after eating out, waiters not complying with mask sanitation is scary. And the manager just watched them do it! I won't go back until after the pandemic ends.”

“Best dining experience in years! I just happened to be in Lafayette traveling through. Food looked good so decided to arrive at opening at 5. There was a line! I sat at bar. Theme that night was Little Shop of Horrors so all servers were dressed in costume mostly drag! Service was spot on. I had a fantastic house salad and the spicy meatballs.”

“My girlfriend and I decided to try this place on a whim and we were not disappointed. It is in the same building as Rock n Bowl. I’ll only comment on what I ordered but I assure you that she enjoyed her food. I ordered an old fashioned off of the drink menu and it arrived promptly, it was very good, just the right amount of bitters and sweetness. I then went with the steak frites and I can honestly say that it is one of the most tasty things I have had. The steak was cooked to perfection and was tender, the first were seasoned perfectly. Also , our server, Megan was very attentive. I will definitely be back.”
