Ema's Restaurant

Good food, good service.

We have been going to this wonderful place for years, but this morning they outdid themselves. Today, on a nasty Louisiana morning, Ema's Café set us up with good food for a good price, with comfortable warm seating out of the rain and cold, with good atmosphere and good, Louisiana music over the speakers, served fast by friendly people despite the early hour and the dreary day. Well done, Ema's!

This effectively beats the other places that we attempted to patronize this morning: East Gate BBQ Express's choice of rain-driven walk-up or muddy drive-thru and the choice of 45-minute wait or "anywhere you want right now" with rainy, outdoor seating at Another Broken Egg Cafe.

I guess the third time was the charm! We'll have to remember next time and just go there first.

I real love going here. They have an awesome menu and wonderful food. My friend and I go there every 2nd Saturday of the month. Marvelous.

Really cute and Homey place to eat. I had the chicken fried steak and the Gravy was sour. Could have been just me as I watched others eat the gravy with no facial expression change. All in all not bad.
