I give a 4 star overall because there was confusion about earning points with purchased food. There was an ad for it but no one but the manager knew anything about it.
The food was delicious. We got an app, kids pizzas, wings, and burgers.
The kids had a blast playing the games too! It was nice to sit back to enjoy a drink while they played.
The atmosphere was great. Super clean and everyone was nice and helpful.
Oh and Wednesday is the day to go for half off games!
This location is pretty nice. It was very busy when we went, and we had reserved a table 4 days in advance and still had a short wait. We were initially told it would be an hour, but after a short conversation with someone at the front door, we were seated within 10-20 mins. That night, there was actually a 3 hour wait without a reservation. So be sure to make a reservation if you intend to eat at this location.
The food was actually really good. I had a cheeseburger and fries that was delicious. My wife had nachos that she seemed to enjoy and my son had a pizza. We were all satisfied with the food.
My wife and I had tried some of their alcoholic signature beverages, and though they had a good flavor, it seemed as if they had barely any alcohol in them. We both were highly disappointed with the drinks. We had a couple of friends and their kids meet us out there, and they too were disappointed with their alcoholic beverages. We decided that the next time we come, everyone would just avoid the alcoholic drinks.
There are a ton of games, and the kids had a great time. They were flying through their play cards and had to recharge them twice. Now that can get a little expensive.
Overall the service was great, our waitress was wonderful, the food was enjoyable and the games were a ton of fun, making this an amazing place for a great time with friends and family.
I have gone twice so far. I'm not a fan of the food. Way better places to eat in Lafayette. Next time I think we will just eat nearby and then go play games. Lots of games are all still new, so nothing is broken yet. Wednesday is usually half price. If you do decide to eat there, don't get your game card at the table. You have the gratuity for total, including card. Download the app before going reward and deals on there. If you do eat there. Do the survey on receipt, will give you a $10 reward. take it to the points place for prizes. Checkout can add it to your card.
As far as Dave and Busters locations typically go, I’d say this one is about remarkably average on all fronts. Service was ok, maybe they’re a little understaffed for the amount of people. Food isn’t that great, I’d recommend eating prior to coming and enjoying some games. Drinks have an unusually large mark up price. As far as the games, there’s a decent assortment to enjoy, including a couple VR experiences. The lads and I personally enjoyed 4 player Halo experience. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a decent outing.
Upon walking in, it was really loud. I could barely hear the hostess. We sat in a booth and waited what seemed like quite a while before we got a waitress. Once we were waited upon, the young lady was very helpful and friendly. Several items (like fried pickles) we tried to order we out of stock. We settled on wings , they didn't take too long and they were served while still hot. The offers in the app are not working, a manager did take care of it for us, but there really isn't a reason the app shouldn't be working for this type of business. May give them a try again, hoping they get that noise level fixed.
