    The food was excellent, with generous portions and decent prices (especially the 2 for 1 margaritas). I was surprised they weren't busy when we went. La Espuela was worth the time for our group of friends, I plan to go back.

    The food was *excellent*.

    The service was very good thanks to a very courteous young man (Thank you, Luis!).

    Very generous portions. Reasonable prices.

    The place has been remodeled and is much brighter. Nice, open atmosphere. very clean.

    The food was outstanding! Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed without hesitation! The food came in a big proportion and was delicious! Nothing was too salty, it had the perfect flavor! I would definitely recommend, and I will definitely be dining here again.

    If you haven't been to La Espuela in Carencro (the old Picantes), you need to go. 2 for 1 margaritas (good and potent) and the food is some of the best Mexican food that I've had.

    Excellent food and service. Best Mexican food in Carencro. I had the street tacos and they were some of the best I have eaten in awhile. My wife had the Chili enchiladas and they were excellent as well. Will definitely return here.
