NJOY Curry Masala

Full time traveler @whatRVdoing! We stopped in Lafayette for just one night. A quick Google search shows NJOY with 81 reviews and a 4.9 rating. So naturally, that’s where we headed. I’m somewhere in the ballpark of 20 curry restaurants, and this is arguably my favorite. The soft creamy texture of the tikka masala was absolutely loaded with flavor. It was so good that I used my garlic naan to practically wipe my serving dish clean. Afterwords we were surprised with a complimentary semolina pudding. It was so wild, floral notes with a sweet fruity taste. Cheers to the family and team at NJOY, this place is magical.

My husband and I went for a late lunch on a Saturday. This place is a gem! The service was perfect and the food was delicious.

I got the lamb korma, and he got the butter chicken. The naan was very light and crispy. Everything was very rich and flavorful.

We liked it so much that we bought a gift card to share with our friends.

One of the best Indian food place I have had in 28 states of the USA. Excellent service and friendly staff. They recently opened so offered me complimentary snacks and desserts!!!

We’ve been waiting for a great Indian restaurant downtown and we are thrilled to have this new restaurant. The food was very generous portions and quick service. No alcohol on the menu but that’s not a deal breaker. Ambiance could use some help but all in all, very good food and we will return!

Could smell the curry as I biked past . Smelled good so I thought I'd stop back for dinner and was not disappointed. I ordered a shrimp dish and a lamb dish but first I got a rose milk. It came and they also brought some snacks with it. Probably the best rose milk I've ever had to be honest. Very satisfying. So much so that I ended up drinking it all before the meal came. It would have been great to balance the spicy Curry. Both the shrimp and the lamb were wonderful. Tender lamb chunks in A satisfying gravy, marinated shrimp also in a thick spicy gravy. The staff were great and the remodel looks amazing. With a nice size dining room and a back pool room with a bar. Apparently they just opened last Thursday, I wish them well and I'm glad I stumbled across the place in their infancy
