This place has good authentic Chinese food. I recommend! The beef noodle soup was heavenly.

    Authentic Chinese at its finest!

Shrimp fried noodles are excellent. The noodles have great texture (not spaghetti) and are not swimming in brown sauce. Shrimp is clean and cooked perfectly.

Cold spicy sesame noodles are an excellent, almost refreshing appetizer. Scallion pancakes are flaky and crispy and some of the best I’ve tasted.

Dry fried string beans are one of my favorite dishes. It’s simple, but delicious. There’s a hint of Sichuan peppercorn and a hint of salt. The slight char and natural flavors of the beans come through. The beans keep their shape and texture (cooked but not flaccid).

Lastly, the cumin beef was to die for! The beef was so tender and perfectly seasoned. Some places put too much cumin, which can give an almost chalky texture, but not here!

If you’re a fan of spicy, be sure to ask for more heat. They err on the side of caution, but will gladly accommodate for those who want more spice.

As you can tell, this is NOT Americanized Chinese like you find everywhere else. This food has a much deeper and more complex flavor profile than the sweet/sour/brown sauce savory generic notes that most of us are used to.

If you’re looking to try something new, give them a try. While some things on the menu might not be familiar, it is still very approachable and more than worth a try.

We got the dishes you see below. There was a little spice but it wasn't so powerful that your nose dripped. Frankly I think they should have a picture next to each menu item with a better description for some of the dishes because it doesn't do the food that's coming to your table justice. Boiled fish or boiled beef are standout dishes you should try.

This was such a nice little restaurant! Very nice service and amazing food. Our cook even left the spice off of the short ribs because it was for our four year old. It was great Chinese food! Highly recommend!!!
