I try to go to Kajun Kidd every 2wks for the Crab cake/ shrimp/rice. So delicious. Please go try this dish. Everything I had from this place is delicious. About to order some plain wings.
I try to go get the crab cake/rice every 2 wks. If U have not been to Kajun Kidd, please go get the Crab Cake, U will not disappointed. I'm about to order some plain wings.
Fantastic wings and fries, quick service. Only thing I would change was that the music was a tad too loud. It was hard to hear each other talking. But overall a great experience! Will definitely be back!
I went there twice is one day. Something changed in between the quality within those several hours. My first meal was wings with some cheese fries. Everything was great but waiting at the window 45 minutes to an hour in the heat was not great. Customers around me agreed. Maybe they can setup a system to contact you on your phone when the food is done. Other then that they should close the outside orders. The food was fantastic but not worth the wait if you are hungry.
My second meal was a philly cheesesteak burger and crab cake rice. I was also with my parents at this time. Idk what happened but in the time the food was made and put on the table the bread on the burger got soggy, the meat was cold. The rice was cold. Everything was terrible. If it had come fresh out, it woulda been fantastic. It was also another 45 minute to an hour wait. My parents also got burgers and it was also cold. The waitress lady was great but having 1 waitress for a full restraunt is not the move. She was overwhelmed and overworked. My parents also complained that they didnt take cash because of an "issue" the lady stated. My first meal I would give 4 stars, my second I would give 1. Therefore leaving the review at a 3.
I'm hoping these are just bc the first month of launch but they gotta step it up. These people down south are picky and dont like trying anything new and you really gootta blow it out the water to have an establishment here. I want Kajun Kidd to succeed.
Food was amazing! Wait time was LONG. I waited an hour & 45 minutes pouring down rain lighting & thunder for a burger, fries & a side of rice corn. YES, I could have waited in my vehicle..which I did for the first 45 minutes but decided to get down because I was afraid I’d miss my name being called.
The staff was very apologetic & offered an extra for the wait. Was told it’s because the inside tables sometime get served before the outside orders. Which shouldn’t be happening. (IMO) The inside & outside orders should be handled separately. I’m willing to give it another try once the “just opening” hype calms down some!
Delicious burgers! Finally, a restaurant that cares about the bacon: it is never burned! The extra care they put in making sure the bacon is not burned, means they really do care about the quality. The chicken tenders are brined and marinated in something delicious. The idea of serving the burger on King's Hawaiian buns is a perfect match, it's awesome! And they lightly toast the King's Hawaiian buns on the griddle, too. Yum! Expect a wait for your order because each order is made to order; this is not fast food, folks. You can order to go at the outside window or sit inside and dine there. The only suggestion I would add is for the restaurant to have sweet potato waffle fries as one of the sides. Overall, it's great to have this restaurant in town.
