Sundown Tavern

Sundown is my go to quick spot in Ruston. I order the same thing every time. (They have an awesome burger selection, that includes the veggie burger) Service varies depending on time and events, but my experience has either always been good or resolved! Ruston has a college, so the environment definitely caters to them or the locals in the area. Definitely go to enjoy the patio when the weather is nice or when they have live performances. You’ll be sure to enjoy!

Have eaten here a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. The service is awesome. We ate out on the patio and that was an enjoyable experience as well. Come check it out and you will not be disappointed.

Such sweet staff. I was in town for a dog show (I live in Houston, TX) and the customers and staff alike loved petting my American Eskimo dogs. Loved the vibe from the place and if we are ever back in town, I'll be sure to make a stop at this place again!

Beautiful place to sit outside & enjoy nice weather. Laid back atmosphere, great food. I recommend the chicken nachos or the fried catfish. Also a fun place to hang out at night & enjoy the Ruston night life with a few friends

The food is good, but the service is lacking. The wait staff were obviously trying, however, they were stretched too thin! It is still sundown and the vibe is good! If it is busy, go at your own risk, you will be waiting a while!
