Day's Smokehouse & Specialty Meats

Always great food and fast friendly service. Id post a pic but all the food is gone before we take out our phones.

Staff is very polite always greet you with a smile. The food is welled seasoned hot and fresh. So if you are passing threw Baton Rouge look it up promise you won't be disappointed unless they are closed.

Have a buddy who grew up in this area and when he visits he sends me photos of all the goodness.

So I gave him a list when he was there last time and when I need to get more I’ll drive the ten hours and load up for 4 months in the freezer.

I’ll post photos as I try each of the many items he got me.

1. Today was the shrimp pie, busting with flavor, great crust and an orgasm of flavor in the mouth.

We have bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with jalapeños and cream cheese on deck for tomorrow for the smoker

Great local meat specially. He employees are super friendly and sweet as can be. They have all kinds of different meats and sides ect. Have some of the best crackling in town. I love going to Day's. ??

We had the steak wrapped in bacon and stuffed with pepper Jack cheese and it was AWESOME!!! I also was told by a cute little old lady customer that I had to try the boudin balls ... so got a couple of those in regular, pepper jack and can’t remember the other one but they were so good!!! I also got some jerky bc I became hungry while I was in there from the smell of all the delicious food cooking!!! I can’t wait to go back!!!
