I have been to G&Js plenty of times and I LOVE their food and ice cream but this time was the absolute worst. The customer service was absolutely horrible. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and explicitly said ONLY meat, cheese, and bacon, add grilled onions. I wait thirty minutes, two people that got there after me walk away with their food first. When I get my burger, it has tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and all kind of other things I do not prefer to eat on a burger hence my dissatisfaction. The girl that took my order was very rude and despite this I still gave her a tip. I will not be going there until there is either a change in management or a change in attitude from the little girl that took my order.

When they say 1/2 pound, they mean it. The steakhouse burger was excellent.

I've been eating at this place for over 30 years. This is just one of those great small town kind of places that offers burgers and shakes and just has a nice cozy hometown feeling. I'm the type of person who finds certain things that they like and stick with those items most of the time, so I haven't explored all of the items on the menu, but today I got a shrimp Poboy and was very very pleased with it.
