    Meat pies and jambalaya were delicious. Very friendly, efficient staff. Bread pudding was great. We will be back.

    I've had the pleasure of eating there over 20 times, and each time the food/service was impeccable. I'd rather eat there then any restaurant in the nearby city of Natchitoches.
    Please try the Duck Tenders, amazing. I've had pizza, brunch, dinner...tried multiple dishes and was never disappointed. Great drinks and cabin-like atmosphere.

    Dinner at Cane River Commissary on a Saturday night. Wife had a Creole Sampler Platter, while I had the Bacon Wrapped Pork Medallion. An amazing meal by any standard. We both had sweetened tea. Meal and tip totaled $48. Entertainment provided by a table of drunks, who wanted to fight the Texan telling them to keep the noise down. Loud and tense for awhile, but overall, pretty much a good night.
