This is an all you can eat breakfast buffet. It is expensive but conveniently located within the Hyatt Hotel. The customer service was outstanding. Our waitress provided outstanding customer service. There were plenty of options to choose from. The food was delicious. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because the omelette and waffle station was horrible. I did not get the omelette and waffle I ordered the first time and had to complete a second card. I waited over 30 minutes before getting the omelette and waffle that I ordered. My family waited over an hour to get theirs. The manager apologized for the omelette and waffle station and fully refunded our money. I do not recommend the omelette and waffle station. I do recommend this restaurant at this location.
I had the gumbo/rice, with a side of spicy chicken flat bread, and chocolate cheesecake, yummy! I also had a mixed drink 🍸, not sure what it was? But it was good! I didn't feel like driving to grab something to eat, and decided on eating at the hotel.. very convenient and worth it! (This isn't a buffet) Thank you, Hung! (Gumbo obviously wasn't authentic, but it was convenient) 4 stars for the service, drink and cheesecake.
This is a really nice lunch option close by one of the locations where I work. This is a buffet but think a NOLA style buffet. On the buffet are options like red beans and rice, gumbo, just to list a couple of options. The buffet is broken into a number of sections, a salad bar, sandwich bar, soup bar, dessert bar and an entree bar. To top this off, there is also an option, with the full buffet, to create your own entree where you pick options from a menu card provided. The food is really good and service is awesome to boot. For me create your own entree, I chose, Pan fried salmon with sweet potato gnocchi.
I had the light fare breakfast. It was $18. The full fare is $24. It's a bit pricey, but that's what is expected in a hotel. It's the average serving of breakfast buffet. They serve the drinks in these itty-bitty cups. Maybe that's a good idea for juice, but for water, I'd rather a larger cup. If you gave time, I'd say go out and get breakfast outside of the hotel. If not, then this will do.
This place is amazing for breakfast. The grits were so creamy and all the fruit was fresh. I usually stay at Hyatt Regency for work in other states. I had a raspberry danish and wanted to know if I could get it here. Bruce Banks took about 15 minutes and got it to me. He brought it to the table and was willing to do anything to make my morning easier. I will definitely be back.
