Cafe Gentilly

Food was amazing!!! The drink machine wasnt working, so ice and drinks were served from a styrofoam cooler and canned drinks from a fridge, but the food made up for it. They were super busy, too!

I had a really good vegetable omelet at Cafe Gentilly. I have never had an omelet where the ingredients were on top of the egg instead of inside it. The veggies were cooked well and so were the eggs. Fantastic artichoke. I’ve heard the hype around town for this place being a really solid breakfast spot and was anxious to try it. It was really packed when I went in there and took around 25 minutes for me to get my omelet. Disappointing but it is what it is and I can’t leave less than 5 before the omelet was that good and at an affordable price. Would have liked a bit more hash-browns, though.

What a fantastic gem! I've heard so much about Cafe Gentilly over the years yet I've never been there until today. do yourself a favor and enjoy breakfast there. The owner and the staff are so personable in the food is top-notch. We had two different omelets and they were both fantastic and we shared them. Great fresh coffee and a total neighborhood spot. Make sure to stop by.

Food was delicious! We tried Shrimp creole Benedict and Eggs Sardou (the shrimp creole is the best). The owner is really nice. They only accept cash (but there's and ATM in the same block). The right amount of food, good prices and awesome flavor!
