Daisy Mae's® Southern Fried Chicken & Breakfast

This was an excellent restaurant to dine at. They gave well enough food portions for the price. You can actually eat twice from the same plate. During the football season, they were somewhat crowded but it was well worth the wait. The wait really isn't too bad but it's just longer during the football season. They also have bar if you in the mood for nice stiff drink to get you going in the morning.????

Had two great breakfast. Get the Chicken and waffle. Chicken super crispy and oily. Veggie omelet tasty. Hash brown too crispy for me. Skip ordering coffee and get Sweet tea.

This is the place to go for one of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had. The chicken was fresh and hot from the fryer. Chicken was golden brown and had a flavorful crust which was seasoned perfectly, not too thick and was amazingly juicy. Best part was it was not greasy! The waffles are fluffy and a perfect companion for the fried chicken. Please do yourself a favor and visit here when you are in town. Plus their staff is prompt and courteous! They are located downtown near everything and very easy to walk to from your hotel! I will definitely be back!

I’d never had southern fried chicken before but it was good. It quite wasn’t what I had expected. I had the 2 piece fried chicken with onion rings and a biscuit. The chicken was very crunchy and a bit spicy and the onion rings were good and so was the biscuit. The only thing I really didn’t like was the minute you walk in it smells as if people smoke inside. Other than that the food was decent and the service was excellent.
