What an amazing culinary experience, every piece of delectable food captured the true essence of Louisina home made cooking. Just walking into Mosquito Supper Club you already feel like you are sitting at a family dinner and can feel the passion and love they pour into the experience. What a magnificent hidden gem in the heart of New Orleans!

Great food and spot on service. We were a little hesitant to book a communal seating restaurant. We are so glad we did. We met some wonderful people from all over the country and Canada. We had a great time.

An unexpected dinner reservation with family and new friends. Birthdays are for celebrating and this was awesome. Some of us started early by adding on oysters and bubbles an hour early, the rest of us just did the pre fixed menu and we all loved it. The food was perfection on plates and the wine was delicious. The Chef's vision was executed flawlessly, with portions of gracious plenty, we had been told that sustainable practice was the guidelines for the menu. Offering a living wage for staff. And to offer a glimpse into the childhood memories of the chef, via a culinary journey. I wish is that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy a meal at the Mosquito, if you can't make it, in the spring her cookbook should be completed and I hope you are lucky enough to have a book signing or pop-up dinner in your town as she travels and tours with the book.

Kick off with champagne and oysters - the oysters were exceptional and the champagne was ice cold. Next you sit at a communal table with people who all showed up to experience this thoughtful, curated meal. The menu is driven by what is available from local farmers and fishermen, and it is all prepared using traditional recipes. Plates, platters, and bowls of food are brought to the table and shared by all. Sweet potato biscuits, shrimp boulette balls, chilled crab claws, tomato-based oyster stew, fried whole red snapper, grapefruit sorbet... it was all amazing.

It's the best "family" meal you've ever had.

I loved every moment we were here. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was everything you could ever want. We sat family style and got to sit by some of the nicest people. Everybody that worked there was kind and welcoming. Although it was a bit expensive I would say it was well worth it. It was my favorite thing we did in New Orleans for sure.
