Best place to get Gumbo, rather if it’s just for you or the whole family!
Went here to get food for my girl about a week ago and they were all sold out! My girlfriend was pissed and wanted to blast them for the lack of food, but after being the person to walk in the store each time, I see why they are always sold out. The food is on point and the staff are friendly and down to earth. She can complain about it all she wants but these ppl know what they’re doing. Best gumbo hands down. I even started going for myself without my girl knowing lol. If they sold out just come back Chile!
My first time having yakamein and it was so good! I don't like soup and was drinking the broth. The Gumbo was super tasty too. I wasn't a fan of the pies but not because they weren't good I'm just weird about texture. My man was more than happy to eat my pies for me so they weren't wasted! Can't wait to go back.
Bruh! Do not sleep on it. I could not partake in any of the amazing-smelling seafood dishes due to shellfish allergies but it exposed me to the yakamein. No soy sauce necessary. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfectly done, and the best part, the beef melted in your mouth. TENDER. I was so upset with myself I only got the small container. I will be going back.
Also appreciated the chef coming from the kitchen to thank me and my coworker for our patience in waiting for our meal. It was worth it hun. We'll definitely be back.
