Good beer, bad customer service. I've got to say, 5 of the 6 beers I tried here were fantastic. Unfortunately, the bartender was completely lacking in personality or helpfulness. I typically enjoy interacting with knowledgeable folks behind the bar at a brewery, who often work to help customers find a beer they enjoy. Here, though, there was none of that. When I decided to just go with a flight, he didn't mention that it was charged at a pretty high price per pour (coming to $25 for a flight). I mentioned the one beer I had that was pretty much undrinkable thinking that he might recommended something better, but he pretty much just had the attitude that "that's just how it goes."
Best beers in New Orleans. They have a wierd yet pretty cool courtyard to relax with a beer and friends. They are able to release great beer in all styles. But I think they particularly are good with sours, mix fermentations and fruit beers. They IPA are also well well well above most breweries.
They seem to have cultural happenings there from time to time as they were having theatre improvisation when we were there.
I must add that the brewery is where you enjoy your beers and it might be the cleanest place I have ever seen.
Staff is limited but quick, helphful and really nice to chat with.
Went here with a small group of friends and relaxed out back with some beers. There was a taco truck when we went with some delicious brisket tacos. Super chill, laid-back vibes with music. Space inside is limited, so I wouldn't suggest a huge group, but the backyard has good space.
One of my favorite Brew Pubs in NOLA. Always an interesting mix of beers on tap. They "almost" always have a Stout or Porter on tap, which is killer for those of us who relish dark beer. Get a beer flight if you can't decide! Cool, laid-back space with board games and a large outdoor patio that has food pop-ups several times a week.
This is a bit out of the way, but well worth an Uber or a bike ride from downtown; they do have a bike rack for the blue bikes. They have an indoor and an outdoor seating area with a large selection of beers made on site and have swag for sale. I was disappointed they didn’t have any pop up food stands when we were there but the beer was really good. I tried the dry hopped lager and my wife had a blueberry gose beer, both were very good and showed the talent of the brew team.
